"On A Clear Day"

The mural "On A Clear Day" is found on the outside west wall at the main entrance of the Montreal Children's Hospital.  It was painted in 1998 by thirty-one members of the Montreal Area Decorative Painters Guild under the direction of Adele Guilbault and features teddy bears and hot air balloons in a park with a background landscape of hills.

To the right is a picture of the hospital wall before work was begun.

The mural panels were painted in the arena in the Town of Mount Royal.  The hitch was that the arena would only be available for one month - the brief time when hockey season ends (once the ice was removed) and day camp begins.

The project was completed on time and still stands proudly and in perfect condition at the entrance to the Montreal Children's Hospital.
