In
1999 the membership was reduced to 100 members with unlimited
associate members.
Three
out-of-town teachers taught seminars at the Guild - Maureen
McNaughton, Linda Wise, and Sue Scheewee.

The annnual Exhibition and Sale was once again a great success. |
The raffle prize was a quilt with panels
of birds and flowers painted by Guild members. A donation
of $2,600 was made to the Montreal Breast Cancer Foundation.

CFCF
12 again asked the Guild to paint a backdrop for the 1999
Telethon of Stars for Research into Children's Diseases.
The theme was a City Skyline.
The
backdrop was also used for the Bal des Enfants du Monde.

In 2000 the membership remained at 100 members with unlimited
associate members. A second cookbook was created by Guild
members and sold throughout the year. Seven workshops
were held after Guild meeting.
We
were also fortunate enough to have three professional
teachers to teach multi-day seminars at the Guild - Brenda
Stewart, Linda Wise and Andy Jones.

Our
Exhibition and Sale was once again held in October. The
raffle prize was a TV cabinet with thirteen replaceable
panels painted by Guild members.
Five
percent of the proceeds, some $2,900.00 from Guild members
and $687.00 collected at the door were donated to the Montreal
Breast Cancer Foundation. |
CFCF
12 Telethon for Research into Children's Diseases invited
the MADP to supply the backdrop for their telethon for the
third year in a row. Eight members volunteered their time
and designed a spectacular scene called "Winter Wonderland".

In
December, a tree was once again displayed by the Guild at
the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The theme for the year
2000 was Old Fashioned with Bows, and the tree was filled
with beautifully painted decorations painted by Guild members.

In 2001 the Guild celebrated its
15th Anniversary. We continued to meet at the Pierrefonds
Cultural Centre and membership remained at 100 members
with an unlimited nymber of associate members.

2001
brought a change in our logo. There was a contest among
members to design the new logo. The winning design was created
by Carole Albert. |
Six members
conducted workshops after our Guild meetings.
We were
also fortunate enough to have four professional out-of-town
teachers at our Guild in 2001: Bob Pennycook in February,
Linda Wise in April, Connie Parkinson in June and Mary McCullah
in November.

Our
annual Exhibition and Sale was a great success. The raffle
prize was a grandmother clock with five hand-painted panels.This
year the Guild donated $2,300.00 to the Montreal Breast
Cancer Foundation. We were pleased to also give a special
donation of $150.00 to C-Dan, the Heritage Collection.

Another
spectacular backdrop for CFCF 12 was designed and painted
for the 2001 Telethon of Stars. The theme was Under a Starlight
Sky. The Bal des Enfants du Monde also used the backdrop
for their fundraiser for research into children's diseases.

Snowmen was the theme for the
2001 Christmas tree at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
The tree was once again filled with beautiful hand-painted
decorations painted by our members.
